How much does it cost to adopt one of your animals?  
 
The adoption fee is $85 for dogs and $75 for cats. This includes, shots, spay/neuter, worming, heartworm check, FIV & FeLuk check, and lots of TLC.

Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday 8 a.m. to Noon

What can I expect when visiting the shelter to adopt?

All the animals at the shelter are treated like an extended family member. We know their personality, likes/dislikes and will be able to guide you on the pet best suited for your home.

They do tend to get spoiled slightly and tend to pay more attention to the volunteer than the potential adopters. This only shows how they will act toward the person adopting them when they become the caregiver. When you email us about a pet, we will tell you everything about the pet. We are not trying to discourage the adoption, just letting you know exactly what we know about the pet.

 

 

 

What if I get the animal home and decide it's just not for me?

We offer a 2 week grace period if you decide the adoption is just not working out for you.  We will take the animal back and refund your adoption fees within this period.

The shelter can always use blankets, towels and wash cloths. We try to provide every dog with a blanket to lay on so they don't have to lay on the cold concrete.

We also need puppy/kitten food, dog/cat food, cat litter, dog chews and paper towels.
